Stitching tips to get a higher resolution photo
As photographers we constantly strive to get the largest resolution images, either by having a camera that is 40 - 60 megapixels. The problem with high megapixels is that in lower light scenarios the camera will generate noise quickly the higher the iso.
To get around this Pete O'Hara uses a low megapixel camera but stitches the images (like a panorama) to generate higher megapixels in a cleaner image.
This also helps when shooting in ice caves as the environments are extremely precarious. You want to get in and get out as fast as possible.
